Come stamp with me!

If your stash is running thin and it's time to stock up on cards I hope you're free to come stamp with me this Friday, April 8th!  I'm offering a Mother's Day, Father's Day & Easter Stamp a Stack.

We'll be creating 3 each of all 3 cards!  If you're a little rusty or in need of a workout, I can guarantee you'll solve those issues while creating these cards! <wink>  We've got plenty of techniques packed into these cards for the special recipients on your greeting card list this Spring!  If you can't make use of 3 of each theme and don't hoard at least one of each creation like I do then you can always switch out the sentiment to suit your card giving needs!

The fee for this class is $25.  Please RSVP as soon as possible as space may be limited and I'll be prepping very shortly.  Thanks! The class will take place this Friday at 6 pm, again…that's April 8th.

Here are the cards we'll be creating.  The Father's Day Card is one I cased from my own design of the male themed birthday card from my birthday stamp a stack last month but with a different twist.  I did use a combination of products that were used on a card I loved of Andrea Munro's (who am I kidding?! I love all of her work!).  She combined the cog punch with Plane & Simple and I just loved the duo so I used it here with the sponged edges and tone on tone like she did.  Thanks Andrea for the inspiration!  The Mother's day card is also my own creation…I've been loving the new Fun Flowers die and knew I'd use it to come up with something for Mother's Day.  After creating my card, I've come to notice how popular a combination the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder and this die are! (kind of like when you get a new vehicle you all of a sudden notice it everywhere, I love it!)  If you have these two products they go wonderfully together and you won't have a shortage of inspirational ideas out there!  If you don't yet have them, you're going to want to add them to your wishlist!  (the die is currently on back order but is available to order).  The Easter card is totally cased (except that I changed it to a Gate Fold to incorporate a new fold to the class) from Carrie Gaskin, the Artistic Avenger.  I just recently discovered her talent and am always amazed by what she comes up with.  She totally solved my Easter card dilema with this one! Thanks Carrie!

I hope you enjoyed the cards today!  I'd love to have you join me at the Stamp a Stack on Friday! Let me know if you'd like to join us!

I'll likely be offering the Birthday themed Stamp A Stack again as well as long as there is enough interest.  Please comment or email to express your interest and I'll update you on a new date.  Thanks!

We seem to be jumping right back into the swing of things after Spring Break.  I apologize for the unintentional 'break' last week. I'll post soon about one of the events that contributed to my break from blogging!  … those stairs have really got to go! ..this time it didn't involve me, it involved my poor Lennon's face (and they're just basement stairs, but apparently we can't handle them!  Not to worry, the stairs seem to  have taken more of a beating than Lennon's face did now that he's mostly healed!

For now, I'm glad to have made it back again so soon!  Enjoy your week, I hope it's Spring wherever you are!
