Welcome Back to another week of Artisan Wednesday Wow! As always, I’m really excited to see what everyone has to share today! I’ve got some pretty gift packaging to share and am looking forward to wrapping up something special in this box to gift at Christmas time this year!
I wrapped one of the Extra Large Gift Boxes with a band of Cardstock Vellum that I had covered in embossed polka dots. I stamped the polka dots with a Dauber and Versamark ink and then used a variety of colors of embossing powder (Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Gold… gotta love a pop of gold!). For a little extra detail I stitched around the edges of the band with my sewing machine. I actually cut two long pieces of Vellum and adhered them together first. (they were cut at 4″ x 11″).
The Bow on top is cut from the Bigz Bow Die (and it’s 25% off this week, just in time for your gift wrapping needs!) and is embellshed with just a little bit of gold there too! Easy, cute and fun! Can’t wait to share this box with someone special this Christmas!
