Welcome back to another week of Artisan Wednesday Wow! I can NOT believe it’s NOVEMBER! Where has the year gone?! It’s hard to believe it but we are practically right in the thick of the Christmas Season! I know I’m definitely in full-on Christmas crafting mode and I’m excited to see what Christmas-y things the other girls have come up with!
I really love the Festive Flurry ensemble and was inspired to create something soft, neutral and elegant for you today! Here’s what I came up with. .. a shimmery, shiny snowflake card!
I chose not to put a greeting on this card. I wanted it to be suitable for any fancy Winter occasion.. I really wish I had a Winter Wedding to go to.. I think this would be perfect for a Winter Wonderland Wedding. There’s a lot of shimmer and shine to this one. The card base is Shimmery White, the Dictionary stamp is stamped with the Silver Metallic Encore pad and I’ve used Silver Foil and Silver Glimmer paper as well. Shimmery, but neutral.. I’m happy with how it came together!
Here’s a closer look at the snowflake. It is suspended in the framed circle (cut out of Silver Foil Paper).
I do hope the real life snowflakes stay away for awhile.. as long as they are here in time for Christmas!
Let’s go see what Becky has to share with us today! Don’t miss a stop, be sure to go all the way through to Mercedes!
Gorgeous!
I’ve been playing around with vellum. Yours is most definitely much nicer. Love it!
Beautiful card!
Gorgeous card! How did you suspend the snowflake? Fishing line? I need to try this. . .
So, so pretty!! Neutral shimmering snowflakes…seems like an awesome Artisan trend! 😉
Beautiful!
WOW – this is amazing – wow
