Artisan Wednesday Wow ~ Pop & Place Gift Tag Holder

Pop-&-Place-Etc

Welcome back to this week’s edition of Artisan Wednesday Wow.  We’re all back this week to share projects we’ve created using the Pop & Place Gift Tags and Christmas Tagables set!

I’ve got a few ideas floating around in my head or in the works but today I’ve got a tiny but cute creation to share with you.  It took a couple different turns from where it started but I’m happy with how it turned out. Does that ever happen to you? Do you ever dream something up in your head and it just doesn’t turn out as planned.  I won’t complain since I’m happy with the result but it definitely goes the other way sometimes too, where things just don’t come together like I imagined them before putting ink to paper!  Hopefully this one inspired you to get creative with the Pop & Place kit!

Here’s what I came up with for this week’s project!  A tiny little gift tag holder.

Artisan Wednesday Wow ~ Pop & Place tag set ~ Sleepless Stamper

I used one of the top note shapes from the Pop & Place tag set to create a folder.

Inside the top note folder, I attached an envelope created with a piece of Season of Style DSP (made with the Envelope Punch Board).

I was originally going to create pockets with the matching frame to go with the tags and make a little window with Window Sheets so that you could see the tags through them.  I liked the look of just the square window (cut with the square framelits) though so I photographed both options for you so that you could see a variety of ways to frame window pockets inside your folders.

Here is the version with the frame around the window. Having both options is always great and it gives you another use for the frames… I might just have another project in the works for those?!?!

I rolled up some Cherry Cobbler Bakers twine and wrapped it with some matching ribbon to the closure on the folder so that the recipient of this cute little gift will have string ready to attach the tags to gifts. I kept all of the stamping simple by stamping in single colors of ink and matching the stamps right up to the matching punched out tag!  This little set is going to be a great set to make gifts out of OR to just give as a gift in itself.  Did you know you could buy the Pop & Place Tags as a bundle with the Christmas Tagables stamp set, a clear block and a little ink spot.  Are you making your Christmas shopping list yet?! I think this bundle just crossed a few people off of my list whom I can buy this bundle for! (it’s only $27.95 for the whole deal!)

I’m looking forward to everyone’s creations today (as always)! Let’s go see what Becky has to share first but let’s hop all the way through to Mercedes.  It’ll be fun to see what everyone came up with with the same stamp and tag set!
