2013 Artisan Design Team Blog Hop ~ Project 6

Welcome back again!  We’re onto the 2nd half of our projects! Thanks for reading with us each day and letting us share our projects with you!

This is the 4th of my cards!  I really hoped to re-create this one again so that I could take a new photo but I guess I should know better by now! Can you guess why I wanted to redo the photo?! Take a look at today’s card and see if you can find the ‘oops’ in my photo!

I bet you see it now!  .. That sweet little teapot got turned backwards before I took the photo.   How I didn’t see that through the lens, even in my big rush, I’m not sure but just imagine that you are seeing the front of the teapot and not the back!  Now that we have our imagination running with the teapot facing the right way, I’ll share a little more detail in this photo here.  I love the Tea for Two DSP and Fabric.  The brad is attached through a fabric flower made by twisting a strand of the Tea for Two fabric and then 6 layers of Creped Filter Paper Scallop Circles scrunched up for extra dimension.  This was also my first fringe card, I think I’ll be trying this technique again!  I didn’t use a greeting on this card on purpose, I strategically placed the ‘We’ll All Have Tea’ and didn’t want to crowd that!

I hope you’ve enjoyed our projects today. If you haven’t hopped yet, hop on over to see what talent Becky has to share with you or you can head on backwards to see Mercedes creations too! They both amaze me!

  1. Darling and unless someone had seen the teapot before, they’d never know it was turned around.

  2. Cynthia Tuttle
