Stay Tuned….

Phew, what a week.   It was full of excitement, tumbles and a new countdown.  March is full of Birthdays for our family, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY MOM!  Our oldest son, is eagerly counting down the days until he turns 7!  20 left to go!  I'm excited for him and it's hard to believe that it's been almost 7 years since I became a Mom, since we became parents and it's hard to even think back to life before parenthood …. even in the silly wild moments like yesterday evening when showing off for family.  ðŸ™‚

Sorry it's been a few days since I last posted, plenty going on and being sore from my fall I didn't get to crafting much.  I'm feeling much better now and am off to learn more about photography today.  I need to learn how to properly use my camera.  …all these fancy functions that we're missing out on.  I'm excited and hopefully it wil result in better photos to share!  Really, I just want to know how to set it properly.  ðŸ™‚  …can you relate?

I'll be back later to share my March classes and a project. …maybe even one with some excting new stuff.  ðŸ™‚  Thanks for stopping in today and check back later!  Until then, enjoy your Saturday, while I'm off learning about photography maybe you'll fit in some crafting?!  ðŸ™‚

May as well leave you with a comment challenge.  …and it's all about what's challenging… Post a comment, tell me what your biggest photography challenge is?  And to add some fun to offset what's challenging, share with me your favorite photography subject.  What do you like to photograph?!  Bet you can guess what my favorite subject(s) are?!

Have a wonderful day!

It's easy to guess for me, too, –my family members are my favourite subjects.  I like the candid shots.  Next to my family, I love to get photos of  flowers and other beauties of nature.  Learn lots, Alanna, then you can pass along your hints to me.  Thanks for the birthday wishes, I will patiently wait for my beautiful card.

  2. I think it must be easy to guess for all of us mothers out there. I love taking pics of my kids as well as well as my boyfriends little girl who's only 4. I love getting outside and taking pictures as well and the kids are often in those pics as well. I have a fairly new camera, about a year and half old now and I even got a new lens for it for Christmas. I'd love to learn how to use all the different features on my camera, but alas there just isn't enough time in the day for everything I'd like to do. Perhaps you can share some of that knowledge and maybe it will benefit me as well.

  3. My favourite subjects to photograph is of course, my grandchildren.  I also love to take photos of my own family. Also, I love close up pics of butterflies and flowers–all nature actually.  My camera isn't that fancy, but I know there are many features on it that I'm not using as I don't know how–hmm, maybe I should take a class, too.  Your pictures are so good, Alanna, but I know you have a very expensive camera and it is worth it when you see the photos.  Best wishes on your new class today and glad you're feeling better.       Brenda S.

  4. Architect!  Although I am not usually the one taking the pictures.  I always let the husband know what pictures to take when we are travelling.  He has played around with features on our camera,  trying new things and has managed to get some pretty cool shots.  I'll have to get tips from you and pass them on!  Hope your class went well.  Take care.

  5. Hi Alanna,
I hope that you had fun and learned alot in your photography class today.  As for me, we have a fairly old digital camera…about 8 years old.  We have never really used any of the functions other than auto…it is just a point and shoot kind of thing.  Our pictures don't  turn out too well alot of times.  We like to take pictures of family  at birthdays and Christmas…… and especially love to take pictures when we are in Portugal of family and scenery, etc….  Alanna, I always thought that your pictures were great..even before the photography lessons.  You have a knack for taking gorgeous pictures.
One last thing…..Birthday Wishes for you Glenda.  Hope that you have many more happy and healthy ones:)
