Welcome back to another round of Artisan Wednesday Wow! It’s always fun to come back each week to share with you and to see what the other designers on team have to share with you!

With Fall being my favorite time of year, this box of products we’ve had to work with this month have been a lot of fun for me.  You might be looking forward to next month and something different after all of the chalkboard banners, leaves and the Thankful Tablescape kit elements that have been sprinkled all over my projects this month!  Watch for the elements of this kit to be put to a really meaningful use in our next blog hop (and on the SU Facebook page this Friday!).   It goes to show how versatile that kit can really be!  I have a scrapbook page to share with you today and must admit that I case’d it from a page I found on Pinterest! When I saw the page there, I knew it would work well with this kit and some of the MANY fall photos I take.

I had loved the barn board feel of the paper on the page I cased this from so I wanted to use the bark paper in the kit to recreate the look.  I adhered the bark paper to Whisper White cardstock first to give it more stability and attached some Vintage Trinket brads.  The chalkboard banner elements were also an easy add on.

Sweater Weather DSP was the go to DSP to create the banners with and co-ordinates with the leaves from the Tablescape kit.   The letters are cut from the Bigz Alphabet Typeset die set.  It’s been awhile since I created a completely traditional page and this one came together pretty quickly.  I hope you’re inspired to create your own!   The photos are actually from last fall but they are some of my favorites and I hadn’t yet scrapbooked any of the photos of myself with the boys.  I think I’ll do another take on this to create a page of the boys with Dad.   .. I think this may just end up being one of my Scrapbook Club pages this month too!

I’m off to see what Becky and all of the other girls have created.  Hop along with me!

  1. Wow! Alanna this page is serious fabulous! I may have to take my kids out for a fall photo shoot just so I can case it!

  2. Wow, this is one of the best fall layouts I’ve seen. I love everything about it and your photos are really center stage. I may have to step away from my computer and make a “traditional” page!

  3. so so cute! Love the birch paper background, and how it looks like it is nailed to the page! Very fun use of the kit!
