Artisan Wednesday Wow ~ Hugs & Kisses

Happy New Year! Welcome to our first Artisan Wednesday Wow post of 2014! We are all excited to bring new product, new projects and lots of fun things in the New Spring Catalogue! As much as a little break last week was great and time away was much needed … and even though I always say this, I’m so excited to see what the rest of the Artisans have to share this week.  I always love their projects and a new catalogue makes that even more exciting!

Before we get into our projects, you’ll have to take note of the super cute buttons that Jeanna created for our blog hop this month, that girl has some mad talent!  I just love what she can do with MDS!  One day I hope to get to hang out with her and learn from a pro! Thanks Jeanna!

I’ve got a card to share with you today! I love Christmas and the projects that it brings and this may seem early but I was ready for a total change and went with a Valentine theme for today’s card. I’ve got a birthday themed one like it in the works so hopefully I’ll be back to share that one with you too!  Here’s what I came up with.

The Perfect Pennants stamp set is in our box of goodies to create with this month and I just love that ‘you & me’ stamp in that set.  I used that and framed it with the On-Film filmstrip die.  This die set is going to get a lot of use here in my studio, it’s becoming a fast fave! You could add a photo into the ‘polaroid’ frame as well if you wanted to.  .. and then give it to your love this Valentines!

I used a variety of pieces of DSP from the neutrals DSP stack and a piece of the polka dotted Real Red from the brights stack.  If you don’t own the DSP stack, you could always use the new Sweetheart Treat Bags and cut a heart shape from those to tuck into your design.  I just adore those bags!
