Artisan Wednesday Wow Facebook Friday Edition ~ Color Me Christmas

Welcome back to another week of Artisan Wednesday Wow! It’s hard to believe we only have one week left of posts to share with you this year!  Where has 2013 gone?!  Time seems to fly by at warp speed and I for one would be thrilled if it would slow down just a little!

Speaking of saving time, I’ve got some fairly quick gift wrap to share with you today!  Cute and co-ordinated gift packaging makes me happy! It’s as much fun to stamp cute packaging as it is to create or select the perfect gift!  The images in Color Me Christmas sure are adorable and fun to color! … and how can you resist creating co-ordinating tissue to go with your gift wrap?!

I stamped the images on this cute little card and gift bag with Color Me Christmas and Versamark on Watercolor Paper and heat embossed them with Black Embossing Powder.  They were colored in with my aqua painter.   While coloring isn’t my go to technique with stamping, I really enjoyed coloring in these cute images! I’ve included a sneak peek as the Old Olive layer behind the reindeer!   It’s one of the Starburst Framelits that will be available in the Occasions catalogue on Jan 3rd!

The tissue paper is stamped with images from Banner Christmas.  I love the look of co-ordinated tissue paper!  The cute little banner on the bag is made with the Season of Style washi tape .  .. washi tape is another favorite item of mine these days! It’s so fun and easy to work with!
