Thanks for stopping in to the 8th day of the Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!  We’ve been loving sharing our projects with you and hope that you’re inspired!  All of the team members have been a huge source of inspiration for me!

I promised that I had something summery to share with you today, so I’m back with the last of my 3 Scrapbook pages that I submitted for the Artisan contest.  I had demonstrated a fun technique, Bubble Wrap Stampin at a share event while in Fiji on the Stampin’ Up! incentive trip this May and wanted to use it on a Scrapbook page.   I also love the Sunburst technique and love the soft feel of beachy projects so I combined all three and came up with this page of my three boys having one of the best days ever on the beach!

Here’s a little more close up detail.  You can see where I stitched the sunburst around the edges and tied in some banners to the sunburst by sewing them on as well.  Sewing and banners are more of my favorite things to incorporate in my projects.

The Bubble wrap stamping is pretty easy to do!  For this page, all I did was cut a piece of Bubble Wrap down to  just a bit bigger than my 12 x 12 background sheet.  I patted the entire sheet down with Versamark.  Then, I dabbed over top of it (straight onto the bubble wrap) with my colored ink pads (Crumb Cake and Baja Breeze), flipped the bubble wrap over like a stamp and ‘stamped’ onto my Whisper White background.  I coated the page with clear embossing powder, heat set it and my entire page was covered in pretty bubbles! Remember though, with randomly dabbing in the color, you’ll never get the same look twice, but it’s a fun easy way to totally change a blank canvas! Have fun!
