I’m back with another project from my Leadership Display Samples. All of the Artisans are sharing their projects right now so be sure to click the links at the bottom of this post to follow along to the rest of this talented group of stampers to see what they’ve got to share with you! I’ve already cased some of the girls, their work is just too great not to! Thanks girls!
I’ve got another Valentine project for you and will be sure to mix it up to something else after this .. well after tomorrow’s Facebook Friday (that we get to share on Wednesday) post since it’s Valentine themed too!
This cute project is a mash up of Sale a Bration and Spring Catalogue stamps and has a whole lot of fun packed into a cute notecard sized card.
When you’re stamping this many samples, chaos breaks loose.. all kinds of stamps, paper and embellishments can be found spread out on the table (or flying through the air)…while working away on this Valentine note card the triangle from Geometrical and the chevron image from Petal Parade were sitting on the table next to me and this little cupid arrow came to life (or came to mind but if you’ve got the tools (a little stamp, ink and paper), you really can make what’s in your mind come to life on paper!). I snipped between the sections of the chevron image to make it look more like the feathers on an arrow and added the love image from Banner Blast and some punched hearts to adorn the front of my card. That Chevron background is a piece of one of the Chevron bags from the Tag a Bag sets in the Annual Catalogue. Not only are they great bags, they make a great piece of DSP when needed! It’s all layered up on a piece of Basic Black cardstock. If you’re local and want to join me in making some of these, they’ll be coming up in a Valentines class real soon! Stay tuned…
Speaking of all chaos breaking loose when you’re stamping this number of samples, there was a particular comic I was trying to find to share with you.. maybe you know which one I mean?! It’s a drawing of a lady sitting at her craft table with snippets of paper flying all around her. I searched for Cathy comics & Maxine comics among others but to no avail… can YOU help me find it?! Do you know which image I mean?! In the mean time enjoy this one.. I’m sure you can all relate and while I may typically be a particular type of crafter over another I think we go through stages where we take on each one of these types of crafters when we’re creating with such variety of products, projects and on a schedule. It was fun…. crazy, but fun and I’d totally do it again, who could say no?! <wink> .. for the record, ‘The Hoarder’ was about where it was at when this little Cupid’s Arrow was made! Enjoy!
We’ll be back tomorrow with more Artisan Wednesday Wow (our Facebook Friday post) and I’ll be back with more Leadership projects for you too! Have a great week!
