Here's a quick short post that will give your tired reading eyes a break from my last post!
This coming Sunday, February 27th (at 1:30 pm) I am offering a Birthday themed Stamp-a-Stack (SAS)! We're covering all the bases with this one! We'll make 3 each of 3 different cards. One with a masculine theme, one with a feminine theme and one bright and cheery for the kids! Bright is way out of my comfort zone, so I'm happy with how this one turned out! The photos will follow late afternoon/early evening … you know, when that techno-savvy, cute looking husband of mine comes to my rescue! Turns out that with a new program I'm not yet used to, I'm unsure of how to resize the photos to post on here for you to see! So, check back later today and I'll update this post with the photos for you to see! In the mean time, if you're curious you can check out my Facebook fan page, Sleepless Stamper and I'll go post the photos there for you to view!
There is still space available and by popular demand I'll be offering a 2nd date very soon for a few girls who couldn't make Sunday. Please stay tuned or contact me if you're interested in finding out when the 2nd opportunity will be.
The fee for this class is $25 for all 9 cards!
If you're in need of birthday ideas, I'll be offering a Birthday-themed project class very soon, the samples are in the works and will be posted in the next few days. Check back and I hope to see you soon!
Now, without further delay, here they are in all their glory! <wink> Enjoy!
You may notice the cards all have a similar layout. One thing I wanted to focus on with these cards is how you can take one design or sketch and make it look totally different by switching out the colors, techniques and shapes etc. The masculine card is most different from the other two, but while still similar has a much different look. I hope this inspires to get more mileage out of your efforts! Have fun crafting!
If you live in Winnipeg or surrounding area and woud like to attend this class please post a comment or contact me to inquire about space. Please indicate if you are interested in the class on Sunday Feb. 27th or if you'd like to be informed of the alternate date coming soon! Thanks!
Ok Alanna I just have to ask. What did you use for the ribbon buckle on the yellow ribbon? You've got my curiosity cause I've never noticed this in the catalogue before.
Hi Sheri! It’s the ribbon slide from the Hodgepodge Hardware kit (styled silver). #111325, it’s $37.95 but you get 100 pieces and 100 brads (pg. 188). The labels co-ordinate with our punches …. you know I’m a fan of punches! 🙂 Hope this helps! Oh, it’s available in Vanilla too!
Oh ok. I haven't bought the hodgepodge hardware, didn't realize it came with ribbon buckles. Something to add to my list I suppose for when Ross is back at work. I'm sure I'll be placing an order next month before SAB is over, but I'll have to keep it to a min. Yes I know your a fan of punches, just as I am. But I don't have them all yet, it's a work in progress 🙂
Love your card too! Great minds think alike:)
Love Ange
