Welcome back again to another week … nearing the end of our run.. of Artisan Wednesday Wow! The days and weeks can really slow down now. There is no need to rush things .. it’s summer after all and we love working together! We are sure gonna miss being a team! .. all that said though, it IS convention week and while I am not there and am at home missing all of my SU friends and my ADT sisters, I am super excited to hear all of the exciting news and updates and to see who our next ADT will be! I’m excited to follow their creations over the next year too and hope that you’ve enjoyed this year so far!
Now, on with some more of my series of starry projects that I made to share with you! We’ve had a little one with teeth that seem to be falling out all over the place lately so I made him a tooth fairy container.. well, not to contain the tooth fairy, she certainly won’t fit in here but to hold his teeth until she flaps her wings and comes to deposit some money in exchange for those little teeth of his. Here’s the cute little container that put a big smile upon his face!
When you get a better look at this, you’ll see that it is an altered Stampin’ Up! embellishment container. I’ve seen some of these altered before (I’m pretty sure my fellow ADT member, Erica did a Valentine one this year that was super cute!) and I think I’ve even come across one done as a tooth fairy container.. but with some stars sitting around from a project I made to send to convention for the display boards and a whole tonne of these containers that I’ve been saving for projects, this little project just came together! We’re pretty happy with it’s cuteness!
I covered the outside and lined the inside with some Island Indigo DSP and Island Indigo Cardstock. I cut them with the circle framelits and the Starburst Framelits. Then, I used the Alphabet Rotary stamp to stamp ‘Tooth Fairy’. .. I really love that rotary stamp, whenever I need a word that I don’t have in stamp form, it’s super easy to make it myself with this fun jumbo stamp!
If you’ve got little ones who are in need of a safe place to store those teeth until the Tooth Fairy arrives, you can recreate this one or custom make it to suit your little one’s favorite colors in a snap! .. this one would even be super cute done up in these colors and using the Photo-Poly set, Calling all Heroes to create fun party favors for little boys .. minus the Tooth Fairy title of course!
Now, let’s go see what Becky has to share today.. I wish I was going to see all the girls in real life this week but hope to catch up with them sometime real soon ….maybe a road trip one day?!
Have a great time and safe travels to convention if you are headed there! I’ll excitedly follow all the news!
This toothfairy tooth holder is the cutest I have seen! It is just darling! I have two grandchildren left to lose teeth, I am going to make these! Thanks for the great creative idea!
totally fun!
