Happy Canada Day!
Welcome to another week and a new month of Artisan Wednesday Wow! .. So hard to believe that this is our last month to work together as a team to bring inspiration to all of you! ..sniff, sniff…
Onto Happy things.. Fun creations and celebrating Canada! My card today features a card I did with one of my clubs! Â They did the Crushed Curry version and in the spirit of Canada Day, I made one in Real Red to share with you as well.
I stamped a spray of stars using the star image from the Project Life® Point & Click stamp set accross the card and then cut the star shaped window with the Star Framelits.  Here’s a closer look of each card.
Happy Canada Day! Â Today’s not only a new Stampin’ Up! year, it’s the day we celebrate Canada!
There’s also more fun to celebrate! .. In the 11th hour (quite literally) we earned the Stampin’ Up! incentive trip to Hawaii! We are so excited and looking forward to next Spring. We are beyond grateful to have been able to put the work in to make it happen and for the support of so many, customers, hosts, team members, friends and family! Thank-you for your support and belief in us that it would happen!
Now, I have to share a little story about this card.. this one reminds me of one of my most enthusiastic cheerleaders and supporters, Wendy! At my last all day crop, we were creating cards with the Retro Fresh Designer cards (one had ‘you are fabulous’ on it) and in her typical enthusiastic fashion, she snapped her finger from side to side and proclaimed, ‘Girl, YOU are FA-BULOUS’! Â It’s always a fun time stamping with Wendy and this card reminds me of how much fun she is! Wendy, YOU are FA-BULOUS! .. AND so are the rest of you who support us here as a team and support me in my business. Â I appreciate each one of you!
Here you can see how the DSP is set behind the stamped layer of cardstock. I adhered the DSP straight to the cardbase and then popped up the stamped layer with Dimensionals. Â The striped image is part of the chevron image from High Five, I stamped it and then cut it down to use just one portion of it.
The greeting on this one is stamped with the ‘celebrate’ from Celebrate Baby but in looking back the ‘Celebration’ from the Project Life® Remember This stamp set would have worked great!  I LOVE that Memento ink and now that it’s available for purchase I am thrilled to be able to share it with everyone!
This one is stamped with ‘You’re Fabulous’ from the High Five stamp set.
Now although I didn’t bring a red, white and blue card to you today, I wish a Happy Independence Day to all of my friends in the US this Friday! I hope you have a safe and happy holiday and wish the same to my fellow Canadians today as well! This card could easily be done in that red, white and blue that I love so much!
Let’s go see what Becky has to share! Be sure to hop all the way through to see all the projects today! We’ll see you right back here if you make the whole circuit and we’ll see you again next week!
You were worth the wait! There cards are so much fun.
Eek! So Happy for you Alanna! Hope you and Ryan have an awesome time in Hawaii!
