Welcome back to another share of the samples that were created for the Display Boards at Inspire Create Share 2014.
Today I have a Scrapbook Page to share with you and if you make sure to hop on over to the Stampin’ Up! Facebook Page later today you’ll see another one that is very similar to it! I’ve been in a bit of a practice lately of using the same idea or sketch over a variety of stamp sets or themes or using the same stamp set to create a variety of different projects. I’ve really been trying to keep things simpler to accomplish by not re-inventing the wheel. .. and sometimes I just really like an idea and don’t want to use it just once! I’ve been able to get a lot more done by following this practice too! ..give it a try!
So, here is the page I created with this set.. not a birthday page at all!
These photos are of some summer fun my boys were having last summer while on summer break. They loved to play ‘Man Tracking’! They’d get all dressed up in what they thought was Western or ‘Man Tracking’ gear and chase each other around the yard as the yard.. but not before having me paint their faces so that they could really play the part! It kept them busy for hours!
I tried my hand at some Cathy Caines doodling on this one to give the page a little something more around the edges and used my Stampin’ Write Markers to play around with my journaling and give it a little more interest.
I LOVE that new Star Decorative Mask.. I have already used it quite a bit and it’s not leaving my table-side! I used my Sponge Daubers to apply a variety of colors of ink and co-ordinated that with the Be a Star stamp set. … I did something a little different on the page that you’ll see on the SU Facebook Friday post (our last one .. insert sad face here!) and will fill you in on that next week!
I continued the spray of stars up over the left side of the page and added in some more die cut stars using the Star Framelits and used the ‘Make Today Ridiculously Amazing’ greeting from Amazing Birthday! I do really like that stamp for a variety of purposes!
I hope you’re inspired to use this stamp set on your scrapbook pages as well as your cards!
